Job Summary:
The Production Manager will manage and direct the production functions of the plant. This leader will direct the coordination of all manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with safety standards, company objectives, quality assurance, and production schedules. The Production Manager is detail oriented and able to lead a team, as well as work closely as a valued partner to other leaders and employees. They serve as a liaison between departments and the Plant Manager. The Production Manager is dedicated to achieving operational excellence with a genuine interest in helping the company succeed through continuous improvement strategies, professional communication and close attention to company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Successful completion of OSHA 30 Course.
- Successful completion of LEAN Manufacturing Course.
- BA or BS in operations management, business, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years plant operations or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Proven supervisory skills and demonstrated communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing concepts and Key Performance Indicators.
Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, staff, and processes of their assigned department. They oversee scheduling and routine production activities as well as acting as the first line of support for troubleshooting should problems arise. This front-line leader will direct the coordination of manufacturing resources including labor distribution, machine maintenance and performance, as well as supporting compliance with safety standards, company objectives, quality assurance, and production schedules.
The Production Supervisor will interview, hire, and manage their team of Production Technicians. The Production Supervisor creates an environment of trust, accountability, recognition, and teamwork. They serve as a liaison between technicians and the Production Manager. The Production Supervisor is dedicated to achieving operational excellence with a genuine interest in helping the company succeed through implementation of continuous improvement strategies, professional communication and close attention to company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Successful completion of OSHA 30 Course.
- Successful completion of LEAN Manufacturing Course.
- High school diploma; BS or BA in related field a plus.
- 2+ years’ relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 1 year prior supervisory experience
Job Summary:
The Production Technician is directly responsible for producing materials and products under the direction of the Production Supervisor and other leaders. They are responsible for keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health, safety, and production guidelines. The Production Technician will work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy and can maintain production standards while working towards improving productivity without compromising quality. This individual participates fully in a culture of trust, accountability, recognition, and teamwork. The Production Technician is dedicated to achieving operational excellence with a genuine interest in helping the company succeed through implementation of continuous improvement strategies, professional communication and close attention to company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial.
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery is a plus.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Available for shift work.
Job Summary:
The Electrician specializes in the design, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems. The Electrician inspects electrical components and ensures building systems comply with safety regulations. The Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint.
Education and Experience:
- Technical or Vocational School Degree.
- 10 years’ experience working in an environment installing electrical wiring, panels, conduit or a similar job position.
- Current Electrician License.
- OSHA safety training preferred.
Job Summary:
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Education and Experience:
- Technical school or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
- 10 year’s experience working in an industrial environment.
- OSHA safety training preferred.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a detail-oriented individual that controls and monitors company payments and expenses. They process payments, verify invoices, and perform account reconciliations. The Accounts Payable Specialist exhibits sound knowledge of best practices in accounting and has experience in a similar role. An Accounts Payable Specialist is someone whose accounting expertise translates into optimized expense control processes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or Associate degree with commensurate experience) in accounting, finance, or related.
- 2+ years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, or similar (4+ years if Associate degree).
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.
Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and purchasing processes. The Procurement Specialist will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures regarding supply purchase are some of the main priorities of this role.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred.
- Associate’s degree in transportation, logistics, or related field required.
- Proven experience managing procurement operations.
- Experience using procurement management software and tools.
- 1+ years procurement experience.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a detail-oriented individual that controls and monitors company payments for goods offered to clients. They generate revenue for the company by ensuring that clients are properly billed for goods or services. They work with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure client payments.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s degree with commensurate experience) in accounting, finance, or related.
- 2+ years’ experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, or similar (4+ years if Associate degree).
- Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (ARS) certification preferred.
Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager has strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. They also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing concepts. The Sales and Marketing Manager oversees and directs the advertising and selling of OBT Bluefield products and creates competitive advantages for our company in the industry. The Sales and Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include generating unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies in partnership with the President of the company, and meeting marketing and sales human resource objectives. The Sales and Marketing Manager represents the company’s brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends. The Sales and Marketing Manager oversees all company website information (partnering with third party developers) as well as responds to all inquiries regarding company products and services. This individual will also oversee all social media interactions.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
